Celebrate Life Concert
Be sure to join us for a fun evening of food, music, and good company! All proceeds from the concert go to Children’s Ministry and VBS so come out and support a good cause and have a fun Saturday evening.

Skater's Paradise & Battle of the Bands 2010
If you didn’t hear about it already, The Rock is putting on a Skate competition and battle of the bands on June 19th. If you or anyone you know is interested in signing up to compete you can download the form on the front page of our site. Reminder: Easter Sunrise Service
Don’t forget to join us this Sunday at Cabrillo Beach for our Easter Sunrise Service. Also, we will not be holding our regular scheduled services this Sunday. Instead we will be having a unified service held at 10 am in Transitions Hall. We hope everyone has a great Easter weekend and we hope to see you all on Sunday!

Mission Kidz Fundraiser
Make sure to come out to the California Pizza Kitchen in Redondo Beach next Thursday night to have dinner and help us raise money for our new preschool Mission Kidz! Pastor Isaac is now home!!!!! As you can see from the picture, the Pastor is all smiles leaving the hospital. He still needs lot of rest and please continue to keep him in your prayers :)

Calender Updated

Pastor Isaac update for Friday
Pastor Isaac’s digestion system is beginning to kick in. His doctor is beginning him on clear liquids. We walked once already - aiming for more walks later with lots of rest in between. White blood cell count dropped a little lower today - hopefully will keep dropping to normal. Praise the Lord.

Wednesday
Wednesday, Pastor Isaac was able to take a longer walk in the hallway and sit up in a chair. His doctor was able to remove a tube that was keeping his stomach empty - one less tube! He is taking less pain medication today. Taking some long naps during the day between walking and short visits by family and pastors. His doctor is happy with his progress. He wants Pastor Isaac...

Update on Pastor Isaac's surgery
UPDATE #2 - from Pastor Isaac’s wife Ritha
Pastor Isaac went into surgery about 12:30 pm on Monday afternoon 3/8/10. His surgery took a little longer than expected due a small cyst near the bladder that had pus in it and it connected to his bladder with a fistula - a tract type opening that the body created attempting to drain the cyst. They removed that cyst and repaired/closed...
